Experience

Building inspections, testing, site assessments, and due diligence methods and procedures are based on the experience of its principal, Joseph Hogan. Mr. Hogan has more than 18 years of experience conducting building and environmental inspections. He has performed more than 1,700 combined building inspections, environmental site assessments, and indoor air quality assessments of commercial and residential properties. Education, training, and experience is concentrated in the fields of construction and building methods & materials, building sciences, indoor air quality, electrical & mechanical equipment, and environmental science. Mr. Hogan has extensive experience and competency in ascertaining the environmental and physical condition of commercial, retail, industrial, and residential buildings.

Training

For the past 18 years, in order to acquire and maintain certifications & credentials, Mr. Hogan has regularly attended continuing education workshops and seminars on building systems, environmental regulations, and indoor air quality sciences.  Seminars, classes, and training consist of more than 1,200 hrs of classroom training, field training, apprenticeship, laboratory methods, field equipment use and monitoring, analysis, reporting, regulations, and inspection and due diligence reporting.
