Building inspections, site assessments, testing, and reporting methods and procedures are based on the experience of its principal, Joseph Hogan. Mr. Hogan has over 15 years experience conducting building and environmental inspections of both residential and commercial facilities. Education and experience is concentrated in the fields of construction methods and materials, building sciences, indoor air quality & mold testing, and environmental science.

Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)

Master Level #12669 Certified by the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management, Rockville, MD. A CHMM is a credentialed professional who is recognized as proficient in the field of hazardous materials, environmental management, and regulations. A CHMM provides acknowledgment of demonstrated expertise and high level of knowledge in the assessment and management of hazardous materials. A CHMM has demonstrated their personal commitment to professional excellence.

Certified Indoor Environmentalist(CIE)

The American Council for Accredited Certification is the certifying body for the CIE.  The designation is designed to recognize knowledge and field experience.  The CIE is trained to understand a wide range of indoor environmental quality disciplines such as: Industrial Hygiene, Building Sciences, Environmental Risk Assessment, HVAC, Mold, VOCs, Allergens, Sampling and Assessment Procedures, Infrared Thermography, and building codes and conditions.

ASPREI Certified Building Inspector

Training and certified in commercial building inspections and home inspections by the American Building Sciences Academy, Barre Vt, and in  Commercial Property Inspection from the Inspection Training Associates.  Achieved specialized knowledge based on classroom training and field experience in the inspection and assessment of building envelopes, structures, HVAC equipment and operation, electrical & plumbing systems, and site components, and preparing reports with findings and recommendations on building conditions and defects.
